UPDATED MAY 31st 2021
1. Per the May 14th NM Public Health Order, “...fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask unless otherwise recommended by the latest official guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDC").”
2. The CDC’s May 16th Update defines Fully Vaccinated People as follows:
In general, people are considered fully vaccinated:
2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated.
3. The CDC’s May 13th Update recommends that: “Fully vaccinated people can (safely) resume activities without wearing masks or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules and regulations”...
4...and specifically stipulates that indoor, high-intensity exercise class participation is “safest” for fully vaccinated people. (See CDC poster, below.)
5. Therefore, in compliance with the above: MASKS ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED AT THRIVE FOR THOSE WHO ARE FULLY VACCINATED.
